My deepest condolences

To the Sallee family after yesterday’s passing of Ralph Sallee. He was 54.

Ralph was the head coach of the East Jessamine girls’ basketball team, and he passed away yesterday afternoon after a long bout with cancer. He coached the team up until he died.

Ralph and his wife, Alesia, are two of the most genuinely kind and decent people I’ve ever had the opportunity to meet, and the way they loved each other was the perfect model for all of us to follow. There was a candlelight vigil last night, and services will most likely be Monday and Tuesday.
